Some of the things you can do to help brighten a persons (or your) day:

  • Work out – exercise releases endorphins, which help to control your stress levels
  • Dance – I know this sounds silly, but dancing actually soothes the nerves and positively affects your brain.
  • Get away – you don’t have to go far to feel like you’re getting away from it all. Treat yourself and take the opportunity to boost your self-confidence.
  • Put yourself first – remember to do what makes you happy
  • Spend time with people you like – being comfortable with our own company is important, but human interaction is vital to survival
