All to often, we are confronted with a myriad of so called cures or magic fixes which claim to be the Holy Grail. However, in our quest for perfection we often tend to forget our ancestors may have known a thing or two. The following health remedies are in no way to be expected to cure or treat any disease, but by properly nourishing the body one might be surprised at the effects good old fashion food can have on one's health.

Triglycerides Washed Away with a Scent of Lemon

Start with one fresh lemon and squeeze it into a gallon of fresh water. Depending on one's size, you should drink roughly your body weight divided by 2 and converted to ounces.
EX. 200lbs/2=100 which converts to 100oz of
water.
The water should be consumed slowly over the course of an entire day. Try it for a month and watch those triglycerides wash away.

Diabetes Soup

Try this one at home. Take 6 oz of fresh squash and 6oz of fresh yams and slice. Add to 6 cups of water
and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and slow boil until tender. The diabetes effects can be amazing.

Constipation quickie

Quite often the bowels just do not want to compromise with us. While constipation is never a good thing and may need further attention, this quick fix may serve you well.
10oz of fresh carrots boiled until soft and then yum! yum!

A second method includes 4 oz of spinach with 1 tsp of sesame oil. Who knows? Maybe Popeye had it right after all.
